Transponder Coded Switches with External Evaluation

The transponder-coded (RFID) safety systems from EUCHNER are up to date interlocking devices for type 4 guard locking and the protection of individuals, machines and processes. They use non-contact transponder technology, which integrates a read head and tag. With external evaluation, the actuator is scanned via a separate read head connected to an evaluation unit within the control panel. External evaluation gives you more options of read heads and tags that are various sizes and shapes. Internal evaluation transponder signals are evaluated in the field, not within the control panel. All devices on this page have external evaluation which provides more flexibility when creating the safety system. Many of these items can be run back to the same evaluation model to keep the cost down on larger systems.
