Contrinex 700 series inductive proximity switches are the work horse of the industry. With a continuous single piece stainless steel housing, it can withstand abuse from the harshest environments and still keep working. Also included in this series is the capability to detecting most metals at the same very long distances. For instance, an M12 version of the 700 series proximity switch can detect most metals at 10mm when unshielded and 6mm when shielded. This series assures a much longer life for a proximity sensor in a very demanding application.
